Facts
On December 26, 2005, Peggy Reigner was skiing at Copper Mountain Ski Resort when a fellow skier came from above and collided into her. Ms. Reigner sustained a right femoral neck fracture in the skiing incident.
Ms. Reigner required closed reduction and percutaneous screw fixation at Vail Valley Medical Center on December 27, 2005. Her medical expenses eventually exceeded $70,000.00.
The matter settled without filing in March of 2006, the value of the settlement was the policy limits of $300,000.00.
